Who are you Johanna? by Lin Hallberg
Condition of the item:

Johanna was born in Iceland, the island of horses, but raised in Sweden. In Iceland, she has her father, whom she no longer has any contact with, her beloved grandmother and her Icelandic horse Sunnanvind, whom she barely remembers anymore. In Sweden, it is the riding school horse Kasper who is given the chance to cure all of Johanna's longing and longing. But when Kasper becomes ill and has to be euthanized, something in Johanna breaks:
"Every thought I think hurts. I don't know what I'm expected to do when there's no longer a small dark brown horse in the third stall on the right when you enter the stables at our riding school. Their riding school..."
Johanna increasingly loses her grip on life, and finally her mother sends her to her father in Iceland, both so that she can get away from her problems and because her grandmother does not have long to live.
Now a whole new life begins, an existence far out in the countryside together with the wild horses, but also with a quiet father who is not easy to get to know.
